Sometime during your tenure at either someone else's or even your own company, you may find that it is necessary to hire a team of consultants. Why you would do this is totally up to you. Make sure that they know you don't think less of them, and that you simply want the company to do the best and be the best that it possibly can.

This isn't a bad thing, it really isn't. Just make sure that when the consultant team arrives they are well versed with company policy when doing their consulting jobs. Just because they have consultant careers doesn't mean that they should be able to do as they please. When your employees see that the consultants are being held to the same standards as normal employees, they will be much more comfortable with this integration.

Make sure that you intervene in any possible conflicts. Conflict between employees and consultants are bound to come up, and you need to do your best to make sure that you jump in and find out the problem before it grows into a real issue. No one ever said that it would be easy, but this is what you have to deal with when you are in charge and dealing with integrating consulting jobs with the everyday jobs.
