As a matter of fact they were the first firm to introduce policies of hiring College graduates with an MBA in order to give the best service to their clients. The boom began shortly after WWII management consultancy firms were part of the norm. Another firm that made headlines in 1963 was a Boston firm they made headlines by introducing analytical thinking including proven research methods into the ever-growing patterns that we use today.

Once these new methods and studies were established as the tools used in this growing sector of business Harvard Business School joined the Chicago based company McKinsey and set standards that we are still using today.
