My direct end user client has an opening for a SAP PP Consultant. This opportunity is for a full time / permanent, salaried position and NOT a contract position. SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION WITHIN DEPARTMENT:
The SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for managing projects and production support activities related to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) functional areas in SAP ECC 6.0 implementation. The ideal candidate will have five to seven years of hands on experience with Production Planning (PP), Document Management System (DMS) modules within SAP. They will also have strong SAP process knowledge and configuration skills to implement best practice solutions and deliver high quality custom enhancements. Experience with Master Data, Document Management, Change Management, Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Management, MRP, Kanban, Production Order Creation, Capacity Requirements Planning, and Production Execution. Knowledge of APO demand planning is desirable. This individual must have an understanding of integration between manufacturing processes with other functional areas like materials management (MM), warehouse management (WM) and finance and controlling (FI-CO). Knowledge of Demand Planning in SAP APO will be a big plus.

Ability to understand business strategy, analyze business processes and develop technical solutions to support the enterprise
Detailed real-world experience and proficiency in Production Planning (PP) and Document Management System (DMS) modules within SAP. Education:
Four – year college degree in Computer Sciences
5 years of SAP Production Planning and/or Document Management System (DMS) consultant/analyst, preferably in a mid size high tech company, with minimum 2 full life cycle implementations.
