Profile

This contract within the EUC Engineering Practice group will support the COSMIC imaging and service delivery system for WFDC. The qualified candidate will work in conjuction with the SAM, Gating, Governance, and Application Lifecyle teams. Primary duties include:
** Enter new DSL applications into COSMIC using the DSL Add process
** Remediate unassigned software records through technical analysis, coordination with the asset management and enterprise application engineering groups
** Find & remediate deployment issues with existing COSMIC applications
** Collaborate with asset management and enterprise application engineering teams on application lifecycle/upgrades for known existing software
** Complete project work for platform engineering team related to COSMIC. Ie; process creation/remediation, COSMIC testing, and documentation
** Provide escalated support to COSMIC users who experience imaging or application deployment problems
- 5 years technology experience in a financial services organization to include: operating system migrations, application compatibility testing, and application integration - Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Microsoft systems utilized for workstation builds and application deployment - Proven experience managing or participating in large scale projects. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, perform multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and follow-through. - Proven time management skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong business acumen, leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships. - Results orientation with proven ability to work with other teams to implement creative out of the box solutions. - Proven ability to work with competing resources and strong conflict management skills. - Proven ability to drive change and continual improvement. - Ability to present information in a variety of different formats. - Ability to effectively communicate with business partners and provide superior customer service. Preferred Skills: (Desired criteria that may help refine the selection process.) - Prior experience and proficiency in software asset management - Prior QA/UAT experience - Experienced in creating and troubleshooting MSI and App-V sequenced installation packages. - Prior experience with Wise or AdminStudio - Thorough knowledge of Windows Installer
