Environmental Consulting Jobs
The environmental consultant may be involved in performing site investigation and remediation and environmental regulatory compliance audit activities. He or she works on the air quality monitoring, storm water management and hazardous waste assessments. The environmental consultant also conducts field sampling and auditing work, recording field data; preparing reports, and contributing to client proposals. The environmental consultant also focuses on multiple projects simultaneously; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for all assignments etc. The environmental consultant also consults on several environmental health safety issues with promotion of tree plantations, use of environment-friendly fuels, and hazard-free disposal of waste and polluting matter.
The applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering and/or a certification in the field of environmental health and safety regulations. Strong background of OSHA and related rules is essential for these kinds of roles.
