Energy & Resiliency Financial Analyst Lead

Work you'll do
As a Financial Analyst - Lead within our Supply Chain Team, you will:
Serve as an advisor lead to defense sector clients on large scale energy, climate and resilience projects.
Provide direction to a team of analysts in developing the business case and performing financial due diligence on various types of energy projects (e.g., wind, solar, etc.) and different third-party financing alternatives (e.g., Energy Savings Performance Contracts, Utility Energy Services Contracts
Enhanced Use Leases, Power Purchase Agreements, etc.).
Analyze and make recommendations to senior government clients on the optimal financing alternative and support efforts to seek and attract third-party financing for these energy projects

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Finance
15 years of relevant consulting or industry experience with energy project finance, the power and utilities sector, and issues related to climate and energy infrastructure resiliency
Experience in financial modeling, business case development/ analysis and energy procurement for large scale energy projects
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/ sectors you serve
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Experience mentoring junior staff
Experience managing senior-level client relationships
Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
Experience working with defense sector and Military Service clients.
Familiarity with DoD energy resilience objectives, policies, and strategies. Experience advising government officials and/ or industry leaders
Experience working with the private sector to secure investment for energy projects
Domestic and international work experience
Advanced software skills in MS Excel
