Senior Consultant, Deloitte New Venture Accelerator—Ecosystem
The Senior Consultant, Hybrid Ecosystems, is a key member of the Deloitte New-venture Accelerator (DNA) team reporting to the Vice President, Hybrid Ecosystems. Hybrid solutions combine professional services, Deloitte intellectual property (IP) and technology to create new offerings.
S/he will work closely with firm leadership to assist evaluating, forming, and scaling ecosystem relationships with technology companies that the Corporate Venture Program (CVP) identifies. The focus will be on ecosystem relationships that support Deloitte's Strategic Growth initiatives and enable and grow its Hybrid Ecosystem businesses. This is achieved through driving incremental revenue, differentiating Deloitte offerings and providing early access to market trends and intelligence.
Work you'll do
Ecosystem Relationship Activities include:
Evaluation: Coordinate with third parties (e.g., venture funds, investment bankers), internal stakeholders and business units to ensure that deals represent interests across the US Deloitte firm and manage metrics for market development opportunities.
Ecosystem Formation: Gain external and internal support to launch new marketplace business relationships (MBR),product or service licensing deals through detailed assessment of benefits and risks. Contribute to business cases to support potential strategic partnership and technology opportunities.
Cross-firm Coordination: Work with firm innovation groups and business unit leadership across the firm to establish key performance metrics and reports for business objectives; contribute to regular updates to executive stakeholders on licensing and ecosystem portfolio and market activities.
Compliance Processes: Work closely with Deloitte Office of General Counsel (OGC), Independence, and Quality Risk Management (QRM) for contract management and acceleration.
Assist with building profitable IP-based licensing (inbound and outbound) and ecosystem relationships with content, software, and data/analytics businesses.
Direct responsibility for monitoring and measuring the performance of Hybrid Ecosystems and influencing and executing changes as needed.
Assist with existing and new relationships, proactively identify and respond to requests from potential partners, work with firm OGC lawyers and firm risk management staff as required.
Work closely with teams that are geographically dispersed to help evaluate key business parameters, competitive and GTM conditions, and opportunities.
Work closely with DNA, business practices, product/technical teams to assist in the analyses of new initiatives and manage the reporting and updates to the businesses.

Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate brings:
5 years of business development and/or product management experience in technology or professional services
passion for innovation, enjoys working with a collaborative team to drive results.
Ability to apply analytical and organizational skills to new and existing business opportunities to solve problems with excellent communications skills
Must have a strong desire to work with the fastest growing and most innovative businesses within the firm, and preferably an understanding of information services, software, content, data/analytics platforms and various vertical technology segments such as cybersecurity, Life Sciences / Health Care, emerging technologies, and mar-tech.
Advanced knowledge of MSFT Office (Excel and PPT), Salesforce, and social media.
Bachelor's Degree. MBA preferred.
All candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed for their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, most positions are in-office-based with limited travel required. While limited travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
