Business Analyst II, Business Analyst III, or Business Consultant

Open to most Anthem locations, must be within 1 hour of Anthem office for a remote arrangement

Please note, job level will be determined by manager and applicant's qualifications, knowledge, and experience.

These positions are with the EBA Document team which is responsible for the creation and administration of Commercial Product benefit documentation including various Benefit Summaries and Evidence of Certification documents.

Business Analyst II:

Translates basic business needs into application software requirements. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.

Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.

Business Analyst III:

Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into applicationsoftware. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.

Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.

Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.

May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

Business Consultant:

Responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements.Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider thebusiness implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments. Primary duties mayinclude, but are not limited to:

May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.

Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.

Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.

Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.

Business Analyst II:

Requires a BS/BA degree, 3-5 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Business Analyst III:

Requires a BS/BA degree, 5-7 years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations; or any combination of education and experienced, which would provide an equivalent background.

Business Consultant:

Requires a BS/BA degree, 8 -10 years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel maybe required.
