McLagan surveys are the backbone to our industry-specific performance and advisory work. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Senior Compensation Consultant in our Northeast region. Our clients include virtually every leading global financial services firm, including alternative and traditional asset managers, accounting firms, insurers, banks and wealth management. Our business model is based on crafting and growing long-term partnerships with our clients. More information about McLagan products is available at https://mclagan.aon.com/Your impact as a Senior Compensation ConsultantJob Responsibilities:Researching existing and emerging trends in client businessAnalyzing data related to surveys and client engagementsCompleting sophisticated analyses; writing reportsFielding client questions and deliver solutionsMentoring and providing guidance to more junior staffYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseBusiness Knowledge – Background in Financial Services preferredTechnical Skills – Individual should be capable in Excel / PowerPoint, can build presentations, analyze data and extrapolate results from large data sets. Ability to build a story/narrative around data and information.Communication / Presentation skills – Comfortable with speaking with clients, answer on-the-spot questions, and presents well. Expertly lead day-to-day client questions/requests.Self-Starter / Independence– Entrepreneurial spirit in the sense that are comfortable in an unstructured environment. Manages time/commitments with little oversight. Develops relationships internally to finds answers to questions.Great Teammate – Excels at working within a team, flexible, and diplomatic.Project Management – Not vital, but nice to have. At a minimum, ability to handle competing commitments.Presentation Skills – Ability to be consultative, has strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience: 6 years of proven experience in consulting/financial services.Education: Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field of study, with validated academic excellence. We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually.
