This Business Consultant position will support the Delegated Risk Program for Anthem’s Government Business Division. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.
Oversees requirements development and testing associated with build-out of new capabilities.
Creates, maintains, and manages dashboards to track and trend operational processes.
Creates and runs complex queries related to claims and encounters.
AdHoc development of query coding to various GBD systems
Intrinsic knowledge of Anthem Claims & Encounter systems
Experience in partnering with and briefing Senior Executive Staff to develop root cause analysis and resolution of program level disruptions
Work Location: This position can work from any Anthem officelocation or work remotely
Requires aBS/BA degree; 8 - 10 yearsof business analysis experience, which should include analysis, projectmanagement, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operatingsystems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide anequivalent background.
Requires knowledge of claims and encounters processing in GBD Facets – minimum 3 years.
Knowledgeand understanding of value based payment / risk arrangements also stronglypreferred.
Ability towrite SQL queries required.
Ability totravel may be required.
Experienceusing SharePoint highly preferred
