Our Direct Client is looking for a permanent resource to work as the Director of Organizational Change Management. Previous experience in a similar role with a large organization is required. Healthcare experience is desired.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
: Under the general supervision of a Director, this role will be critical to the execution of highly complex, multiple projects and/or programs related to new and optimized business capabilities. The individual is responsible for both strategic and tactical interface with senior level management from all areas of the company to provide organizational change management and business readiness functions as it relates to large scale enterprise programs. Duties include but are not limited to, the following:
Plan and develop Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Business Readiness activities in support of the CSEP enterprise programs, as follows:
1) Scope, develop, and lead change management activity across into the business and TOS, and manage the activities of change teams in delivering large corporate initiative programs.
2) Identifying what changes in processes, procedures and practices are needed to achieve program change and deliver the planned benefits.
3) Develop and evaluate the communication and change impact needs for corporate initiatives and develop and implement end-to-end communication plans.
4) Work with internal communication, provider relations and training resources in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support CI implementations.
5) Work together with program leadership to develop program governance models that support a matrixed, collaborative environment and high engagement by business and TOS sponsors.
Develop and Implement Key OCM Enterprise Program Deliverables during and after program execution:
1) Overall accountability for delivery of key CM deliverables such as Stakeholder Analysis, Communication Strategy, Training Strategy, Readiness Strategy, Change Impact Analysis, and Stakeholder Management Plan.
2) Develop key messages and communications to support CI program transformations.
3) Manage the OCM resources assigned to the program (vendor or CF associate) and ensure they are properly utilized to meet the program’s OCM objectives.
4) Establishes performance expectations and provides feedback, coaching, and career counseling for direct reports and matrixed team members as needed.
5) Measurement and monitoring of business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) affected by change. Identifying the impact on KPIs of change and what this will mean for CF.
6) Develop program campaigns to engage and motivate people and facilitate alignment of leadership goals in order to create high performing teams and successful corporate initiative delivery.
Develop and implement a standard organizational effectiveness, change management, business readiness, training and communications strategy for the CSEP organization, working in alignment with internal readiness, training and communications resources across the SBU’s and TOS.
1) Develops organizational effectiveness and culture engagement strategy, operational plans, and goals to align with CSEP strategic and operational objectives.
2) Coach TOS and business leaders on how to effectively lead through the program transformation.
3) Drive adoption of the change, including identification and management of key stakeholders and development of metrics to measure change sustainability.
4) Develop standard role descriptions/skill matrix for OCM resources to be used in OCM-related programs that complements existing internal CF associate talent pools.
5) Leads the implementation and maintenance of CSEP's Organizational Effectiveness and Culture & Engagement roadmap.
6) Monitors the organizational effectiveness and culture engagement strategies and reports progress and results to the CSEP leadership.
7) Leads the organizational effectiveness and culture & engagement work and continuously evaluates and improves the organization, processes, and work environment.
8) Establishes strategic partnerships with outside vendors and consultants to incorporate industry best practices, trends, processes, and products and services into current OE/OCM strategies.
Travel between local offices may be required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Required: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or equivalent; master’s preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant OCM work experience in a consulting environment (preferably with Big 4); or equivalent internal change management consulting experience at a large organization in support of organizational transformation.
Abilities/Skills:
1) Proven track record of affecting change in large organizations across a range of operational areas to ensure sustainable difference to business operational performance.
2) Management experience, including accountability for a team budget, developing plans, and achieving clearly defined outcomes.
3) Demonstrated success developing strategies which address future organizational effectiveness and culture/engagement opportunities at the enterprise level.
4) Excellent written and oral communication skills, extensive presentation experience, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management including C level executives
5) Extensive experience leading a complete change management effort as part of large program, including training, communications and organizational readiness.
6) Able to be comfortable and credible in assessing change management, communication and/or training needs in complex environments.
7) Experience using standard change management approaches, tools, and techniques for preparing the organization to adopt changes.
8) Possess a deep knowledge of one or more of the following: business process improvement, change program management, or people/organizational change management.
9) Outstanding communication skills (verbal, listening, written and presentation).
10) Deep experience using established CM techniques to effectively generate buy-in across a large span of stakeholders.
11) Exceptional program/project management skills, effectively arranging resources and managing multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
12) Strong problem-solving, organizational and facilitation skills.
13) Strong influencing and interpersonal skills and proven ability to get things accomplished through others.
14) Ability to develop credibility and rapport with senior executives and manage those relations and expectations.
Preferred: Strong working knowledge of Healthcare systems, functions and processes preferred. Knowledge of SDLC preferred.
