The Role

This opportunity will be filled by someone who is passionate about Social Media Security and Compliance and has a deep understanding of Social Media security requirements particularly in the Financial Services Industry. The role demands the interaction with both business leaders and technical staff at large-scale enterprises to drive a stronger Social Media security and compliance posture. The individual will lead the implementation of the Proofpoint Digital Risk Suite of Products.

The implementation life cycle will include clarifying customer objectives and determining how to best leverage the product functionality to meet the customer needs, recommending configuration options and policies, configuring products, assisting with testing & monitoring and skills transfer.

The successful candidate will be organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership ability and experience in the Social Media security and compliance space. The candidate must take initiative and have strong project management skills, being willing to work in a fast-paced environment with many customers at once. They need to take responsibility and accept accountability for successful customer engagements. The candidate must also demonstrate Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.

Your day-to-day

Engage with our Social Patrol and Social Discover customers as an expert in the field and drive successful implementations.

Drive complex implementations while working side by side with the customers to meet their Social Media security and compliance requirements.

Work with internal teams (most notably engineering, sales, product management) to ensure that customer requirements are well understood and tracked.

Coordinate with multiple parties to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution to customer issues, and completion of projects.

Drive high levels of customer satisfaction

Define and document the best practice techniques, processes, templates, and architectures for use by the greater field organization

Leverage previous experiences, share best practices and facilitate creative solutions to unique challenges, maximizing the value of our Digital Risk products

What you bring to the team

5 years industry experience in a Professional Services Consulting role

Hands-on knowledge and experience with Social Media Security and Compliance products

Technical background in enterprise applications, software, and services

Technical industry experience in Archiving, eDiscovery, or FINRA regulated surveillance/supervision is a plus

Strong project management skills with a high attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal skills

Must be comfortable with presenting and explaining technology to Senior Business Executives and people with high technical knowledge.

Must have a good understanding of the sales process, be sensitive to sales situations, and possess excellent customer service skills

Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high stress start-up environment

Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams

Excellent organizational, analytical and influence skills

Ability to work independently, ability to adapt quickly, positive attitude

Demonstrated experience in supporting Fortune 500 or other large customers

BA/BS or higher in related field
